The base currency token – USD.cx. The counter currency token – RON.cx. The USD.cx to RON.cx chart represents the relationship of US dollar to the Romanian leu. The USD to RON is considered an exotic couple that is not traded as often as the majors, but also enjoys popularity among traders. The top global currency, the USD, is the most widely used reserve currency in the world. According to the European Union accession agreement of 2007, Romania is obliged to replace the Romanian leu with the euro. Today, the leu is not yet the part of the ERM II (The European Exchange Rate Mechanism). The adoption of the euro in Romania is scheduled for 2024.
